On occasion, I've been contacted by book clubs who would love questions to discuss. Here's a few for THE DARKEST FLOWER, as spoiler-free as I can manage. 

​The characters in the book represent many different parenting styles. Which kind do you relate to the most? Why?
 
Do you think any of the mothers in the book were doing it “right”?
 
Have you ever worked for a boss like Allison’s? How would you handle his comments about attire or makeup?
 
How do you feel about the defense Kira (and Dan) wanted Allison to use? Was Allison right to feel uncomfortable with it?
 
If you’re not a lawyer, did the attorney-client privilege restrictions come as a surprise to you? How would you have handled Allison’s knowledge at the end? What would cause you to break that privilege, if you were a lawyer?
 
Does Kira have redeeming features? Did you find yourself sympathizing with her? Did you feel uncomfortable sympathizing with her?
 
What do you think Finn’s life will look like after the story is over? Fiona?
